If you are caught smoking in public, however, you will find yourself in far more trouble. It is best to avoid smoking in public to avoid trouble with the law.

You can also buy just about 5 grams of cannabis from these coffee shops, or even buy a pre-rolled joint to smoke later on at home.

Cannabis Culture in Groningen

Although many people are under the impression that anything goes with cannabis in the Netherlands, this is just not true. Although cannabis is tolerated in Groningen, it does not mean that everyone consumes it or is tolerant of smoking in public places.
